  In the clip there is this part where their rifles are hung onto the barrel of main gun of the older M48 tanks(not 100% sure is this). Wonder why they chose this place to attach their rifles. Anyone have the answer?

  One more question...why is it that artillery shells have this loop in front? Is it used to facilitate transport? Thanks
