DAY 2==continued
Largest participation of German defence industry
More than 30 leading companies and subsidiaries are presenting ‘German Defence Technology’ at the German Pavilion at DSEi 2005. The importance that Germany attaches to this exhibition can be seen by its strong industrial presence, backed by the Director of Armament at the Federal Ministry of Defence, Dr Jörg Kaempf, and by the spokesman for the defence industry in the Federation of German Industries (BDI), Helmut Harff. The military equipment industry is a vital support of German foreign and defence policy.
The exhibits of German companies at DSEi are focused on command, control and communications; weapon systems and ammunition; armoured and non-armoured vehicles; electronic equipment for reconnaissance and air defence; equipment and components; logistics; and simulations, modelling and training.
