RSAF to buy F-15s

  F-15 can fly to a height where no fighter in the world can.
  
  Can use it to take out satellites or to send a satellite into space.

  yes you're right ... the yanks actually developed anti-satellite missiles during the cold war, and deployed it on the F-15 .... now i'm not sure about the height record though .... i though the russians foxbats can fly so high that you can actuallly see the curvature of the earth ? ....

  The only engine that can do continual acceleration in a vertical climb even fully loaded.

  anyone knows whether the aim120 included in the 741mil weapons deal is the C7version with range of 120km or C5 one? and how does the aim9x fares against python4?

  F-15 is meant to be high attitude interception...thats why of its high acceralation....the F-15 Streak Eagle broke the record before Su-27 broke the F-15.....

  u're asking a question not many people can answer. Cos i doubt any of the people here have been shot at by a python4 or sidewinderx.
  
  Besides, actual range of the amraam is very subjective.
