Singapore, Brunei air forces hold bilateral air defence exercise
Strange exericse - ONLY 70 people involved form both side .
SINGAPORE : The Republic of Singapore Air Force and the Royal Brunei Air Force are conducting a bilateral air defence exercise.
Called Exercise Airguard, it is the eleventh in the series, and is being held for the first time in Brunei.
The 12-day operation, from August 15 to 26, will involve about 70 personnel from the two air forces.
SingaporeÂ’s Defence Ministry says the exercise is an excellent opportunity for both air forces to strengthen their inter-operability and further enhance the close relationship between the two armed forces.
The Chief of the Republic of Singapore Air Force, Major-General Lim Kim Choon, is in Brunei from August 22 to 24 to observe the conduct of the exercise.
He will also call on Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Pehin Major-General Awang Halbi Mohd Yussof and Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force Colonel Mahmud Saidin. - CNA /ct

Well, this is for those curious about Brunei's Air Force.
It is small but records high servicability rates.
Brunei is considering a purchase of 4 or 6 Hawk 100 light attack aircraft/AJTs
and 8 AH-64D Apache attack helicopters to add much needed bite to its small combat capability of 4 PC-7 Mk IIs.

Something curious, in a eevnt of war, does SG and Brunei has some sort of bilateral agreement that both will go defend each other?

sounds good on paper ... but what's the point ? ... brunei would be a kitten, even on paper .... it we get into a scrape with the northern chaps, they can exactly pull a fifth column in East M'sia anyways .... and the northen chaps won't be silly enough to touch them either ....
