What equipment SAF is lacking and should purchase or built?
If you can make the decision, what equipment would you buy for SAF?
For my case
Buy LeClerc MBT
German Diesel Submarine (Instead of the Swedish Subs)
USMRLS system
Any Long range SAM system -
buy more better and abled men

Purchase companies to give them jobs so that when reservist, no fear to lose jobs.
Issue every combat-NSF with class 3 driving license for serving NS after they received training from hired part-time driving instructors.
Sure got no people report sick for these lessons.
(less people chow keng to get out of combat vocations)
COE rebates and road TAX at 1/2 price for combat reservists who have long service awards to encourage people to stay and not downgrade/siam(disappear) at will.
Women like (real)men with cars and real men who serve NS can better afford cars. (also improve birthrate)
Kill many birds with one pebble. -

We don't need French MBTs. We already got new ones lately. I do think we need to have more modern submarines now that our submariners are well-trained enough to target a USN carrier during exercise.

I prefer that SAF should have funded Comanche programme , and acquired stealthy helos..
It should have 20 Vipers , 20 Apaches, 15 Comanches
It should have the ability to convert Chinook into armed gunships consisting of 4 miniguns, two rocket pods attached to their wings.
It should have Harriers and mini-aircraft carriers..
It should have US submarines, AEGIS destroyers armed with SM-1 long ranged SAMs and Tomahawks...

1. Quiet SBO. The velcros on the pouches are a dead giveaway.
2. A padded sling for the GPMG gunners.
3. A better Landrover. Something like the Humvee, but not as wide and lighter with better ballistic protection. RPG protection? You need a tank.
4. Physical fitness program. We need a better physical fitness program. I have an ang mo friend thinks the NS program is for sissies. He beliefs that if a 45 year man can train part time to be fit in 6 months to do a marathon, why can't it be done better with younger people. -

I agree with you. the "problem" with our fitness "problem" is the "motivation".
although the 45 year old man is much older then the NSF, he is much more motivated. -

Have a M203 grenade launcher attached to the SAR21 that can fire High Velocity Rounds
What can 5.56mm rounds hit actually? Don't waste time shoot with a grenade
For tanks...there is this discussion on speed versus armour
Heavily armoured tanks? Take them out with tandem warheaded anti-tank weapons
The main gun of the tank take much time to aim and lock compared with a anti-tank missile
The future of tanks will be armed with missiles and travelled with the speed of a ferrari heavily armour tanks are waste of money
Cheap aircraft carrier design? Line about 10 rafts in a straight line and you can get a landing strip on the sea Or buy VTOL harriers
