I think Sg own part of EC120 company. EC120 might win. It is a very light and cheap heli.

It is odd as there is no news till now about the possible order of new transport and utility helicopters by the RSAF. As seen in publications such as Air International, the RSN is looking for 6-8 Anti-submarine helicopters and a further batch of machines based on the same airframe as is required by the RSAF to replace the UH-1Hs and the oldest AS332M Super Pumas in the transport role. The total need could surpass 40 units. Now that the winner of the naval helicopter competition has been declared to be the S-70B, it is expected for the RSAF to order the UH-60L Blackhawk. It should be noted that the Chinooks and Super Pumas are heavy and medium-lift helicopters respectively and a lighter machine is no doubt required for possible COIN missions and other missions requiring only a limited response. I do not really feel comfortable with the RSAF's statement of the UH-1Hs being replaced by the Chinooks or Super Pumas as this would only make up the lost capability by overstretching our current fleet of helicopters...
By the way the competition for our new training helicopter to replace the AS550 is down to the Bell 206 and EC120. 12 units are to be acquired.
Comments anyone?
