NS in the future

  YEAR 2200
  
  a scenario , whereby each 18 year old guy , will have to design a military robot during the 2 years training to protect singapore in his place , the robot will be fully controlled by programs and will have a infra-red laser in which it will track down all enemy robots ?
  
  We can have a sea-based unmanned vehicle carrying Harpoons/Exocets , an unmanned aerial vehicle carrying AIM-120C missiles doing dogfights , and land based robots carrying laser weapons and robot jet fighter planes will be used to guard the skies?

  haha.. yeah man. Just take a look at what happen during the last Great Singapore Blackout. Traffic policemen had to manually direct the traffic at traffic junctions. Sporeans were left high and dry without the aircon and TVs. ultimately, the war is fought by humans, the outcome will be decided by the instinct to survive. Technology is only a force multiplier and a means to bridge the gap that human is weak in. UAVs still need human to control it in distant location.

  so in your senario, Harpoons/Exocets & AIM-120C technology will last that long ah? can change to laser? i think it'll be more realistic if you change it to laser...or manybe no more NS everything is unmanned, can change your senario to things unmanned? i think unmanned is more realistic lah.

  laser still won't work for now due to the unavailability of optics to withstand that high extreme temperature
  
  Currently working is the particle accelerator type pulse weapon but too bulky...need vehicle to carry it
