SAS,SBS and Delta Force

Anyone see any SAF troopers or officers with the SAS badge and Delta Force badge or something?Seems like SAF got noone being sent to attend SAS,SBS and Delta Force courses...

Well...those who attend Navy SEALs wear the trident,US Rangers also wear them,pathfinders,green berets etc. also.
So why not SAS?or Delta? -

Anyway! i am new to this thread! am ex-Singaporean living in Dallas, Texas area.
I do not think Delta have a badge! but I may be wrong... lots of my buddies works in the special forces community and Delta is the one the services will deny their exisitance.
Great bunch of people to hang out with in the range, they surely open us up on the tactics and training being use which make a lot of our NS training looks like kintergarden! I wish we have a much more robust and realistic training in the SIngapore army! Maybe this have change since the early 90s when I serve...hopfully for the better.

Anyway, I was quite intrigued with your gun collection.Was an armament specialist in NS.But try comparing our NS and the spec ops operators there..it's a world apart.I would even dare say that only our Guards and Commandos can come close to the operational tempo of the US frontline Air Cav or the Airborne Corps.The rest..I'd be happy if we can match the National Guard...
But shooting is something we have not really concentrated on much, especially on the side of combat reloading for service and combat support troops. -
YEs I agree.... in mingling with the spec ops people in the US, it is the mindset that put them apart.
SO sad, during my time in the NS, a lot of good training could have been implemented well and the basic thing of the people doing it do not have the correct mindset to accept these training ! A lot of them are more tekan than really getting the people the right mindset to excecute the operation.
a simple range session can become such pain! or should I say this is a top down problem.... heroes lead by Fools!
Hopfully this have change ... if not they will always bewhere they are.... its always the people that is in it that make the differenece and not the amount of hi tech crap you can put into them!

for what i know, there r only 2 person have the SAS badge ( both above 38 yrs old liao)
not easy to pass out this course , further more, i think we wont send any guyz for this course as well .... i dont know SOF side... mayb they have someone attending this course b4 -
