Hello buddies,SAF is currently holding a exhibition/road-show in Temasek Polytechnic in conjunction with SAF Day 2005.
Amongst the vehicles on display are the Primus, Bionix IFV, Flyer LSV (one armed with SPIKE the other with the CIS40),6SIR/2PDF jeep mounted GPMG,Ambulance and 3 tonner are on display.
Many other weapons like the FIBUA gear etc. are also on display... -

let me guess, they were wearing berets instead of helmets, they had on lots of fancy non-standard-issue gear, shades as well maybe, then they did some inverted rappelling, or maybe free-fall rappelling and they had a recruitment booth at the bottom. ;-p -
So what's new? The demonstrations are to give the students an idea of the "exciting" things the army does. Besides, rapelling is quite easy. Just ask those who've done it. Even Australian rapelling is simpler than it looks.
