Bubble Tea Recipe
1. Pearl
Do you know that other than black pearls there are colorful pearls too? Pearls is make of tapioca flour and hence it is chewy.
*How to cook pearls
Ratio of pearls to water = 1:7
*Boil water, put in pearls slowly, stir until all pearls float on top of water
*Continue to boil for 45mins using small fire. Turn off fire and cover it for 10mins.
*Scoop up the pearls, add sugar or honey, mix well. Okay!
(Remarks by CCL: After taking it out use tap water to rinse it till cool, then add in the sugar. This one is learn from my Taiwanese friend)
2. Making of Bubble Tea
Use either red or green tea.
*Brew Tea
Boil a pot of hot water (90-95C), add in 25grams of tea leaves.
*Soak for 5-7mins.
Remember, don't soak too long or your tea will taster bitter.
*Filter it.
3.Get some melted sugar.
4.Shaker
Add tea, abiut 3/4 fill, add in 2-3tablespoon of creamer then add in 1/2tablespoon of melted sugar, add ice into shaker. Shake untill u dun hear the sound of ice. (the more bubble the merrier!!)
5.First put pearls into a cup, then pour in the mix tea.
*if you are making apple or mango tea, take some apple or mango and make it into juice. aff the juice to the shaker to make apple or mango tea. Ratio of juice to tea=2:3.
