As for Ruiyichi during his solo days he shld have two albums & a few singles but i can only recall his first album is titled "Cranberry Soda". Inside his album i like the song "Beat" & also frm another album the song titled "Love is.." is absolutely very comfortable when u listens to it esp at nite.His songs are different frm Luna Sea but u still can find his own style when he is not with Luna Sea.
Also recommends U all Sugizo's album titled "Truth".It is a experimental album where u can feels Sugizo's inner heart what he wants to express through his music.Esp his guitar remember to use your heart to go & listen it! -

If really wants me to recommend,i would choose Siam Shade,Transtic Nerve,Buck Tick &
Kuroyume.
It all boils down to what type of J-rock u prefer,i normally goes for more heavy & more
darker side of J-rock.Also to mention i also love to listen to Metallica my favourite heavy metal band.
As for the Mandarin & Cantonese side i like Beyond,Anodize,LMF,Virus,Luxury & etc..

Songs by Malice Mizer and Dir en grey are really very nice....oso those from Laputa..
By the way, thanx for telling me the title of that ryuichi's song which is 'Love is'
becos YM played that song in DYMLYL before, but I did not hear the title mentioned clearly. -
Luna Sea, i listened to some of the Luna sea songs u mentioned, so far i like Be Awake, Feel, Forever and ever, Into the sun, and love me...
However i feel that their singer's voice seems to be too small as compared to the background music... so abit the chaotic for some songs.
I can accept this "heavier" kind of songs, but do they or any other bands have songs with a similar style to Aikawa Nanase or Glay? In other words, rock songs that sound not necessarily less "dark", but more energetic, for example like Midnight Blue, Missing you, Mermaid. Can someone recommend songs of this type? -
try listen to laruku's songs, most of them very nice.....especially these songs: winter fall and cureless

Eh... i take back what i said about Luna sea's songs being non energetic... after listening to a few more... I'm starting to like them
Maybe their lead singer abit the soft for their earlier songs... but now not soft at all... -
