Well, considering most of the OA is sucked up by HDB anyway... The OA is pretty non-existent for a major part of our lives anyway.

Don't tell me you don't have the basic ability to finish one thing before starting on the next?
Which sentence did I imply about 2.5%. I'm still waiting. As long as you cannot show the sentence or post, you are basically just talking rubbish.
2) My chat was primarily with Calvin. Who were the people we were referring to?
If you want to talk about something else related to the thread, but totally unrelated to my discussion with Calvin, sorry, I'm not interested.
3) It's not even technical analysis. You raised statistics via your so called research. I showed you back statistics.
Get your facts right. Oh ya, wonder if you could read. I have already mentioned the word statistics.
4) Your sentences are all out of point. There's no point to start tackling at all because they don't even fit the point of contention here. And sorry, I'm not insulting you. I merely state a fact of you that you admitted too. How is that insult?
5) You missed the whole point because we are talking about GIC being able to earn 8% and pocketing the difference of 5%. You tell me whether they can secure 8% is irrelevant.
How much more out of point can you get?
6) Geez, which post was I referring to the OA at all? All along, I was referring to the SA.
And I have already told you the OA isn't even worthy of comparison.
Out of context yet again.
Vague explanations? I didn't even bother to explain to you unlike to Calvin because all your points aren't even into what my discussions were with him. There wasn't even any explanations, so I can't even see how you could see vague explanations.
If you like to start on something else that isn't related to my discussion with Calvin, I have already told you I'm not interested.
Haiz.....same stance....refusal to answer any questions.
OK. I am wrong, you are right, you are the scholar, I am dumb and stupid, you made a fool out of me with your explanations which I failed to understand, or anyone for the matter, your scholarly explanation confounds common coffee shop assistant like me.
Interestingly, CPF Ordinary Account balances is twice that of SA. But it is considered non-existent for a major part of our lives by some great investor.

Same stance? You are indeed quick to point the finger when you are the one using the same stance again and again:
Out of context, putting words into others mouth, and now coming out with a stance that you don't understand when my words and content are even simpler than the outdated article you pulled out and understood, and refusal to answer my questions.
I'm still waiting for where you said I implied about the 2.5% rate.
There's no point answering any of your questions because your questions stem from this point which I have not mentioned at all.
I might as well ask you why you said you are homosexual because you implied that, but refuse to tell you which sentence you said that implied it.

I think you have problems reading and understanding, I already gave you the time and date for the post and here you go asking me for it again.
Are you sure you are eagle? The eagle I know is much smarter than that.

I don't care about being smart a not.
I didn't bother to reply you because that conclusion of that post of mine was super clear.
Combining points 1, 2, and 3, I fail to see how 4% guaranteed is unfair.
Unless you tell me OA is 4%.
I'm still waiting for where you said I implied about the 2.5% rate.
In case you were wondering, this is what you said:
I thought you said that it was fair that CPF pays 2.5% (Ordinary Account) and 4% (Special Account)?
Now where did I say that? You obviously read that I mentioned 4% guaranteed is fair, and you know 4% is for SA, while 2.5% is for OA.

Yes. You made me look like a fool and homosexual.

Yes. You are right, I am wrong, I am stupid and a homosexual.

Which great investor considered that?
Ok, I shall edit my statement. For most young people nowadays, with HDBs costing nearly 300k and above, OA is mostly non-existent for the major part of our lives.
Happy?

Definitely, he's a scholar and has 5 figures of stocks in his investment portfolio.
Who is Jim Rogers compared to eagle? eagle's technical analysis is so precise that everybody that follows it makes heaps of money.

I don't use technical analysis most of the times. Not sure if you are referring to another person who uses the nick Eagle in CNA forums as well. His TA is damn good, but I'm not him.
A scholar is also nothing extra.

government scholar or what?
no, but does it matter?
Market starting. Shhh.

That is true to a limited extent. Many people for the past 10 years have had their HDBs paid up and they have balances of hundreds of thousands in there. It makes a difference. If you're talking about the newer generation in the era of super high HDB prices, then I would say your words apply.
Ya, I meant the newer generation :(
I don't harbour any thoughts of any $$ in OA at 40 yrs old. Maybe that's why minimum sum in SA has to be increased yet again :x

Originally posted by Devil7030:Why angel is also called nun now, can update ?
all because of my Uncle Checkmate..u ask him..anyway, let not stray out of topic..our hard earn CPF saving....i have also take that CPF is not a saving, it is rather a fund building for govt to tap on, people who think CPF is a saving will alway end up disappointing, that is why it is not called CPS central provident saving, but rather funds, funds as per fundmarket.
