I guess the opposition parties will more or less work together to have a "give and take" so that they can cover more places, rather than concentrating on Tampines GRC.
As reported in the news, there might be some consensus between each other out of respect. =) -
the only way for the opposition to have any chance is to form a coalition..............the public don't even know the names of these opposition parties...............with a coalition, people will know it's either PAP or ''the other guys''........

OK la.. At least I know SDA, WP and SDP.
But I got a shock when I see the faces of the opposition on Shin Min today. I dun even know them apart from Mr Low and Mr Chiam.
The TV coverage is too narrow. Usually can only see PAP candidates nia. -

but that's part of the PAP's mechanism working isn't it? you've been fed this thinking. that lightning is friendly and hammer is unpredictability. singapore's strong enough not to collapse just because of a change in government.
And quite successful at that. That's why MBT will continue to sit firmly in Tampines.
Good for the residents. Most probably will get more carrots prior to election.

And I don't have hope for opposition also, they seemed gutless.
Recall the Mas-Selamat incident when that Hougang guy questioned LHL if further actions should be done.
LHL questioned him if LHL should sack WKS.
Hougang guy just kept silent.
Kept SILENT when he could have rebutted with a sensible answer.
It goes to show that S;pore Opps are either for there as Wayang, or they are simpler not clever enough.

PAP is not indispensable like some make it out to be. Without them it is still possible to have peace in Singapore. Someone here using peace to want people to vote for PAP. IN other countries like Switzerland, there is peace there and PAP not there to govern.

In the last election, medicorpse showed the talk between the seng han tong and opposition Mr Lau Thia Kiang. Seng han tong gave himself bad publicity on the national TV by using teochew to humiliate Mr Lau. seng imitated like a cock crowing to insult Mr Lau. I was shocked to witness this bad behaviour of seng han tong on national tv. -

Frankly, I used to have good impression of seng han tong, after the whole session my impression of him changed.He was so uncalled for, such a uncouth man, PAP attracts such quality in their team. shake my head.

Today our MM says if the opposition wins Mah Bow Tan, they should sell their flats.... I wonder where will they stay? Botanic gardens or East Coast Park?
Most Singaporeans do not own a second property and will not benefit from rising property prices. The cost of housing increases along with their rise in HDB values. If they sell the HDB flat for a profit, they have to buy at a higher cost of housing at the same time.The main beneficiaries are those who own a second property and the govt who collects your CPF.
Mah Bow Tan under supplied the market when demand is rising - a sign of incompetence. He should go if Singapore's system is truly meritocratic.Voting him in means what he has done in the last few years is right and should repeat what he has done after he is elected....
The policies are made by high flying elites who do not stay in HDB, may have rarely or even never taken taxis or public transport in their lifes...Singaporeans wont get any voice until the next round of elections.And it will be in another 6 years time...
Look at what has happened in the recent years and vote wisely....

Using HDB for scare tactic knowing majority of Singaporeans are staying in HDB flats.
There is no such thing as incompetency and so on about the PAP ministers. They are perfect that is why they are not sacked or asked to step down when things go wrong. It is the people that are not perfect and are subject to accusation, blame, reprimanding from the mmlee and ministers of PAP.

We still need to go to work, eat cai peng for lunch and watch American Idol on Wednesday nights.
They talk as though 2012 was approaching. Geez.

Mah lost in election once (or twice?, somebody correct me if I am wrong). But still able to carry on . This is indication that the ruling party never takes the public,citizens of singapore seriously. Seems very clear they are serving their own agenda rather than serving public.

I thinking Mah will be transferred to another GRC or something like that.
Or probably they will let him stay there but draw the Tampines GRC smaller?
Anyway, it is an irony these days. PAP doesnt seem to be able to fill in high qualified professionals into its team - have not seen any new members filling up their candidate list while the opposition seems to have qualified scholars coming in.
