Enconomy has barely recovered and they're so gan chiong to raise back their own pay, yet tell people to be cheaper & faster.
Regarding the mandate, as said many times before, fear tatics, unfair advantages for ruling party are being used here and many people still do not dare to vote for opposition even if they think opposition are capable. It is not the same as shareholders voting for CEOs.
Want true mandate, remove the serial numbers on the votes. If they still win majority of the seats, then everyone will shut up automatically.
What collective got to do with the public?? every reputated organisation sure to have collective agreement, it is good to have, at least it stand as a referee in any dispute.
They are talking about it, doen't mean they will raise it, and in fact, if raise it and dun let you know it, you also dunno and blur blur rite??? so why pursue a blank wall issue??
If you look at it, it is human nature that people will do their uptmost to protect their power and rite, same goes to you. In another word, people are territory creature, and if want a part of that territory, you need struggle with the ruler, no two ways about it. And as the ruler, he/she will also his/her uptmost to protect and hold forte his/her territory. Given added advantage as the choosen one, with the consitutional rights mandated, they will certainly use all their might to push you off. This is human nature. nothing wrong a

The collective agreement is for Public sector lah, the agreement specified that Bonuses and Pay increment must tight with real GDP growth, that is the KPI that they must work on and strive to excel on it. The Public sector unions such as the amlgamated union of the public employees, HDB staff unions, all GLC employees unions, ministers and all other civil servant's together agreed on this formula of taking GDP as the benchmark of their performances.
Cool now leh...little bit thing only want to scold people liao. How to talk??
As i said before, Shareholders can opt to remove the CEOs, citizens as stakeholders of this country can also opt to remove the govt, but so far, nothing happen leh. So, it gives them a mandate to executive their executive orders for the sake of Singapore, singapore people can be stupid, but certainly not a fool, if things dun go well, they know who to vote for, but if oppositions are those lousy lousy type, kind of 1 good and 10 lousy type, we also got no choice. Just like when i send my car for servicing, going to agent is very expensive, outside shops is more cheaper, but i see outside those ah seng and ah kow way of working, i hv doubt in their skill and experiences, so i still take on the agent, tho it can burn a hole in my Versace Bag, but you got guarantee and also feel more comfortable. YOu understand!!! stay calm and cool ok. Scolding and talking big dun win you anything.
First of all the collective agreement were basically signed by milliondollar club house.
There are no unions in the Singapore publics servants as such there was no negociation within the statutory vs the Singapore Publics Servants board that could represent all publics servants.
The salary was more of a handdown to the civil service ....At the lower end there are no voice.
Because there is no civil servant union to negociate....So what public sector are you referring to?

If you can attribute this to human nature, then there really is nothing to discuss anymore because everything can be attributed to human nature.
Humans are greedy, selish, protective, ruthless, cruel... everything & anything can be attributed to human nature.
Hilter would be correct, terrorism is nothing wrong as they're just due to human nature.
When people has to go into this path of arguing by saying "that's how it is", that means they no longer have anymore logical argument to refute the claims.
Singaporeans are real pathetic - there is no way to stop the mercenary ruling party from paying themselves so much. Seems no cap for the salaries these greedy ones are getting.
Greed has no limit.

Speak for yourself.
Singaporeans are never pathetic. Do we blame ourselves when the opposition parties never field enough viable candidates for the previous elections?

They abuse the law, so which part of the penal code can we charge them under? They were smart enough to do things legally. So we have to vote them out first.

it is not like some places where the top enjoy all the dining and wineing but the below are poor like dog, if that is the case, we dun even need recession, I will lead a group of guerillas and chiong into govt houses.
Can it be reduced for the following issues:
- A accident caused by a foreigner who is allowed to escape. Who is responsible for the accident ? What happened to Singaporean come first ?
- Huge increase in the rat population. Can we request for a refund from the town council as they have not performed their due responsibility after collecting so many money for each month ?
- Overcrowding of hospital. With the huge influx of FTs, the infrastructure is unable to catch up with the increase.
