And for your info, there are alot of Singaporeans migrating already. Goh Chok Tong himself told the press that alot of capable singaporeans are migrating and Singapore must find ways to make them stay.
I agree with these statements.
As I live longer and longer in this world, I realize that there are many places I should now be in, happier and better off there instead of living here in Singapore.
The only things that are holding me back are my parents and my baby nieces

As I live longer and longer in this world, I realize that there are many places I should now be in, happier and better off there instead of living here in Singapore.You have to admire people like Chee Soon Juan who could choose to migrate to places like USA, Canada, Australia etc where he could have carve a career in academia with his PHD status but instead choose to stay in Singapore and fight against Lee Kuan Yew and be oppressed by him.

Well these group of people are mainly PAP's supporters:
1. Police Officers / Civil Servants
2. People working in government Sectors.
3. Teachers
4. Principals.

You say say only, if you realy have the cash I don't think you will do so.By the way, it is the govt's job to do so, none of your problem. People pay tax and moreover,they keep earning our $ they have the responsibility to do so.

PAP is already disappointing the people. The last election is the proof that the people are disappointed. 33% people voted opposition. You can check the past elections records, PAP really is going downward.
Singaporean are getting smarter especially due to the existence of internet. The government didn't enforce high restriciton on the net. The enforcement they did is to get law breakers. Internet is like a library, still, the library contain trolls. It is also up to the intelligent of the people to determine it.

If you see the past 2 to 3 elections, their wining percentage is dropping. The last election saw the worst winning percentage.However, they stil go on their own way to self serving and igoring the voice and needs of the people. They are too proud and cannot afford to reflect the reasons why their winning percentage continues to drop.

1. install loooooots of CCTVs at HLP( which is what they did) - so as to discourage mass gatherings and support for opp
2. just before election time, "give out" looots of $$ in handouts to the ppl ( then if win election liao take all back via, increase ERP, increase bus fare, taxi, PUB bills, electricity .. etc... govt very pro at this)
3. make alot of empty promises when rallying for GE. AKA: talk cock.
4. Dont give any coverage to opp, if give, also given in a bad perspective.
5. Make sure got their howler (ST, news..) everyday sing praises abt LKY and the PAP.
It'll be the ultimate epic win of the year for the opp if they win GE!- and epic fail for PAP. wahahahahah..

anyway, in the election, 100% they are going to wins, so might as well take whatever goodies they can offer and enjoy it now, otherwise, like my stubborn uncle who refuse to take it but in the end also took it, will be a total disgrace.talk big..lan lan also go ATM and withdraw the rebates

But they need to fail once at election to really push themselves past their boundary.

failure is the mother of success!
problem is what they consider failure. fail to win all seats to the parliament? fail to gain more % of votes compared to last election? if they acknowledge failures, setback, even a little one, they will progress. If they don't, even when they are dead, they thought they are in heaven.
Most important of all, what is good for the people of Singapore? their success or their failure?
