As long as the military is willing to support the government, this will end sooner rather than later and the protests only make the Thai PM look good and honorable for allowing peaceful protests.

There were gunshots firing and also lots of injuries, and u dun blame the govt??? so when the yellow shirt occupy the airport, u also dun blame the govt lah, what state of emergency is the PM talking about when the army is the citizens own brother and father?? Sometimes I do not understand AndrewPKYap. On one hand he keep scolding Singapore government because they r not democratic, on the other hand he support the Abishit who is never voted, use courts power to oust out elected government, in cohort with the army and the elite to exploit the poor and rural. Is using courts and army more democracy than votes ?
Now situation is really chaotic. I never heard any high key meeting stopped halfway due to protests. The people r split between two groups and who knows the conflict can escalate. Does tis make Thai become stronger ? In disarrays, they r portraying a picture of bad investment choice, non stable government, risky tours and anything chaotic can happen in near future. No matter who becomes government now, there r people who r not happy and become democrazy
The best way forward is to hold an election which is wat the protesters want. But Abishit refuse. Why ? DO u really respect democracy or u support democrazy ?

If Abishit is so honorable, so good, so handsome some more, then he should win the polls. Why worry ? Thaksin is supposedly so vile, so corrupted so despicable, then he will surely lose. (By the way, Thanksin is "corrupted" becuase he bought a land which is not controlled by him at a much higher price than it is valued. I think it is the court who is corrupted)
Why r we seeing Thaksin being so popular tat can make him last so many elections, so many setbacks and so many years yet he is still so popular. He must have done a good job when he is premier isn't it ? Why abishit shits in his own pants and refuse to call for an election ?

Pls lah.....You don't need to "make" the Thai PM look good to be in power.
you know what is lack in the Thai politics? It is not freedom of vote they lack but a moral freedom that is not influence by the King nor the military.
Actually is very easy to solve this problem. But right now is pure hardline power struggling.
Anyway damage already been done. The current Thai Govt is viewed and experienced by regional leaders that thai govt still need work to establish support by its own people. And people have not gotten over the military coup
