as a part-time iris user previously and a full-time iris user now, i think iris is pretty darn good. not perfect but it works for me...
mrt, i agree. still sucks....especially during peak period. [edit: too few trains], too much chatting and talking on the phone, smelly people and emo kids around.

I have not been to these countries but one thing for sure, many locals migrated told us that life in other countries is definitely better in the sense less stressful.

Imagine if you can use IRIS to plan trips a week ahead, and not just for finding the timing of the next 2 buses.

If you think Singapore doesnt have the one of the best public transport system in the world, you will have to quote more example instead of just using German train network to prove your point. The last time I was in Germany, my train arrive 40mins late. When I board the train, I couldnt even get a seat because I didnt reserve in advance. Is this what you considered as the best?
Beside the technology that goes behind the transportation vehicle, it is also important to take into consideration the cost of public transportation and its coverage.
If they do have the best public transport system, I wonder why so many germans still prefers to drive? Anybody ever tried taking taxi in Germany?
