Fallout already started lah. PM Rudd says he's disgusted and appalled. Qld AG has met the DPP to see if they can still appeal. Under Qld law, child under 12 cannot give consent to sexual intercourse. Qld state opposition wants an investigation.

The judge gave the minimum sentence - so now the general community in the affected area and Australia are not happy . The PM is looking into it . The judge has to answer for it now and I doubt answering to the PM and the Attorney General is any fun . -

Malaysia is a class above the rest in term of giving sentence.... haha.. or best they are a class above the rest in term of judges "shaking hand" with the criminal behind the court room.. lol

Look here, the lenient sentence meted out is currently the subject of a probe by QLD attorney-general.

Ah Hao probably should have be given 20 years. The investigation was not conclusive. An innocent girl of aged 10 MAY agree to have sex with guys.
