A lack of an alternative? Why, with the PAP in so much control of the electoral system, it will take sheer will of the people for there to be ever a rival political faction to ever emerge. If one is to adopt this defeatist attitude, be prepared for more abuses of power to come.
that i am definitely aware of. it is something that i've been aware of since a very young age. however, i have neither the will nor burning desire to effect change.
it's a real shame to see how things are going. it's sad when you know such things are happening to the place you call home. that's why from young, i've always pushed hard to live elsewhere. thankfully my parents have given in to that request.
i can only hope that things will improve though it doesn't seem likely. maybe one day, since no-one can predict the future.
