After all this time right now in our age, SEX SELLS and its everywhere, esp. in the media. Thus from the tender age of 12 loads of teen starts to explore already sooner then before.
therefore i think nothing much can really be done as to amending the law.the govt is just tryin to protect its people anyway. -

So the point is, basically you are already able to do what you want when you are eighteen. With the exception you can "siam" or get lesser sentence if you get a run in with the law. I dont see that as a bad point.
On a Lighter note:
5 years later *whine* 18 - LEGAL AGE
10 years later *more whining* 16- LEGAL AGE
12 years later *worse whining* Puberty - Legal Age + Adulthood
Then you get 12 year old Man gets charge for Rape of 10 year old woman and gets sentence of 10 years in jail?

but if talking abt commiting crime, to me, it doesn't matter u r child or teen or adult. a crime is a crime and u have to pay. -
All i wanted to said is, maturity is based on how you behave, and it is not be define by how old you are, or how smart, you can be, its when the time, trouble land on your down steps and how you are going to handle, thats what make you an adult,
the law are there so that the mass will obey and follow, in order to create order, if one is to complain about the legitimate to your rights, first you must ask yourself, what have you done for this country, if you want to be treated as an adult, then you must show that you can handle responsibility, then you shall be shown with respect, but if you are going to complain about the lack of respect that is shown to you which is TS, then i really had to tell you this, RESPECT ARE TO BE EARN, NOT BESTOW UPON YOU,
Since you are still at tender age, you can be pardoned for what you have done.

its correct form of the language - english, and there is nothing to do with literature, unless i use words like art, thou, thee, and change all the word from I to one, then maybe it can be consider as literature.

Lower the age of majority to 18? Possible, but only for the girls

Adulthood is something perhaps very vague to you. It's not in the games that you play, nor the activities you participate in. The age of adulthood is one whereby the state deems that you are psychologically able to make a rational decision. Sure... some 18 year olds, or even people who are younger can do that... but we're referring to the majority of the population.
By the way, even though you may be tried as an adult, the courts will take into account your age before administering the sentence.
