It is also well known that army MO are idiots.When i just enlisted for NS,during the supposed "medical checkup" to determine my pes status,nothing was done for me,i went in to the room,the MO just asked me this single question:Hmm you think you have any problem you want to highlight? I reply nope i dun think so and immediately based on that i am given Pes A status.Wtf,that is considered a medical checkup?
IMO lots of MO should be charged in court for medical negilence,most of them do not even have the basic moral that their mission is to save life.
I get the feeling FFI is just another administrative measure adopted by the Army to cover its own arse IE "Eh you cannot blame the army for your injuries because your FFI states that you were in perfect health on discharge". -

the government should take extra extra precautions, and make sure that every NS men are healthy. Meanwhile, trainings should not be too harsh for people to take. Nowadays NCC trainings are damn harsh, so i can imagine how harsh NS is...
If people keep dying in NS, then later few ppl will be willing to do NS liao. -

Seriously... NCC training harsh meh? Walau... have not tried the SAF training during my time. NCC, cannot do dun do lah... what can they do to you? Sign extra duties? Actually, I think the whole idea of IPPT is really funny.
1) Does the ability to jump far means you are FIT?
2) Does the ability to do repetive situps mean you are FIT?
3) Does pulling your own fat A R S E up mean you are FIT?
4) Does running up and down a mat picking up imaginery blocks mean you are FIT?
The only item I think relates to fitness is 2.4km run. But then again.... put some terrorist lose with GPMG running after me... I think I can run 2.4km in 8 mins
