Sgforums - Improvements? Ideas?

Hey!
Sgf is reaching it's 11th Year on the net now, and 11 years is really a long long time.
Although SGF is quite well heard of. (And popularly frequented by the press) There's hardly any users online (25-50) as compared to maybe other forums which can have numbers of 100s and above.
What puzzles me is the lack of people who are interested to create an account to post here.
For the current users here. We often do experience slow page loading speeds and server errors.
Thus this thread is created to highlight how we can have entice more users to join the sgf community, and keep up with other singapore and global forums.
Here's are my personal suggestion.
- Have a publish to Facebook link like there is on Sgclubs. Facebook is a good platform for communication and connections. Having this helps promotes SGF to more online users and it allows us to post interesting net to share with people.
- Improve reliability
- A signature :P
Here's my 2 cents worth. Feel free to add on. -
and a gender icon to show the username is a female

But we shld fix some one the impersonating clone problem... there are a few cases already... seems like someone manage to bypass the system...
kenneth, we do used to have signature in SGF... but i think they took it down after it causes lag... some ppl have much too flashy siggy tat took too much bandwidth...

(old bird)But maybe have a restriction to the file size of the signature and make it for P-members only?
Otherwise what we get is only A mantra and a bigger avatar. There used to be no ads ):

To have mass order of popular stuffs like SNSD CDs ect.

not a lot of publicity for Sgforums lah so hardly anyone knows about this forum.
i only come here after i was banned by STOMP................pior to that, i never even heard of Sgforum.
the worst part is so many people here got 2 or 3 identities.............so if there's 40 users online, maybe actually there's only 20 ..........................LOL

oh mi gosh you sexposed me. my main reason is to get the community together. Cause there are individuals that would like to get stuffs like maybe in my friend's case the latest SNSD cd. But the cost of one cd is not worth to get it from HMV. Thus with mass ordering, it will lower down the price of the product. If there are enough people who are willing to order a particular product, we can order it via Sgf :) -

SGforums used to be very popular and actually good last time, back in 2004 around there. But then as time passed, many old timers moved out to private forums because there's simply too many spammers which spammed individual forums. As individual forum admins here lack the power to somewhat control spam, many set up private forums elsewhere.
I used to post frequently in sgforums, and would definitely like to see it return to its heydays.
