This is the bottom line, which I thought I made pretty clear:
- Moderators should be objective
- Users don't have to be objective, but moderators have to deal with them objectively and professional nonetheless.
Moderators are *supposed* to be patient with users, agitated or not. -
da vid, why you behave in a nice way to those who called you for sex, but in a bad way to the people here?
I would expect you to scold the people who called you for sex.

You seem to be missing the entire reason why I was rude in this thread.
If SGForums removed my post within a reasonable time, I would not think this place sucks. Likewise, if a person calls me once and I tell them that I didn't make the post, they will stop calling. However, if someone continuously calls me and I tell them every time that I didn't make the post, I'm going to flip out on them. That has not happened so far, though.

I never revealed my phone number to anyone other than my friends. For all I know, it could be a coincidence and the person who posted it just made a typo. And no, I didn't reveal my number to anyone in this forum.

... if people gave me helpful replies in the first place instead of insulting me, I wouldn't have been rude. But one of the first replies to my post was "fuck you." First impressions mean a lot; my impression was that everyone here is incredibly retarded.
And yes, regardless of how much of an ass I am, I expect moderators to deal with me objectively. How is that unreasonable? Moderators' jobs are to moderate the forums and deal with users. If they're unable to do that objectively, they shouldn't be moderators.
Imagine angrily calling Dell because your laptop crashed and all of your important data was lost, and they responded, "We're not going to help you because you are being rude to us." That's ridiculous. That's what you're suggesting the moderators do?
