GREETINGS to ALL ( and a little question )

err... im quite new here so GREETINGS all...
but i have a little problem... how come when i tried to rate a picture, I need to "back" a few times in order for me to see what i wrote or rated? and i do not get to b redirect back to the page where i last last viewed =.=... is that normal or just the noobish me??
