  it'll be great if the bit where the left column decides to be more than a page-width wide for Firefox is fixed

  I think "cut by another half" can solve problem already.

  close that top table with the two logos, should be the column spans that are messing it up.
  
  So, should be fixed by closing that table and starting a new one ... or figure out the columns (more time consuming). Also, for future references, try to use less tables (only for true quides), more divs .... much cleaner and easier to troubleshoot without all the , etc.

  firefox fix wont b a simple fix, there is too many things that might be going wrong.
  
  what is worse is that if u refresh in firefox, or u press the text size increase n decrease buttons (ctrl +, ctrl -) the layout will sort itself out. which seems to me like there might not be anything wrong with my coding, firefox just seems to b messing it up somewhere along the way.
  
  i've tried all i can think of, including some things forumnites posted here and pmsged me, but it all didnt work.
  
  so the solution is a longterm one: do a redesign of the whole website, with firefox compatibility from the ground up. but that wont happen for several weeks/months yet
  
  so for now the short term solution for firefox users? press ctrl+ and ctrl-

  yeah.. thanks chief.. what i usually do is to page back, and page forward with the extra buttons on my mouse... and the page is okay again...

  Just now when I just started coming in, the left boxes, all the placement are messy
  
  The status box is not at the bottom, rather @ the middle
  
  Noted that SB page, the left boxes are cramped

  First picture (too wide), firefox will just truncate the right side to fit the window while IE displays correctly.
